Last minute cancellations and late Arrivals for general massage appointments

At Baan Thai Spa we understand things happen and life makes challenges for us everyday - that's kinda what we are here for. If you need to cancel or reschedule please allow 24 hours before your appointment  - not ideal but we may still be able to fill the slot. Last minute cancellations or rescheduling of less then 24 hours affects us monetarily both for the Spa and the therapist. We try our best to fill last minute opened slots but generally that time is  a loss for us. If multiple last minute cancellations or reschedules and/or changes occur we will  start requiring deposits to offset the potential losses. We really do not want to have this occur but we are a business and it is unfortunately necessary.

If a customer cancels or reschedules or changes (ex book 2 hours change to 1 hour day of) with less then a 24 notice more then twice we will need to require  a non-refundable deposit of %50 of the requested service in case of further last minute cancellations.

In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, we ask you to arrive on time for your appointment. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are to be late . We can discuss options at that time. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will either have their time shortened or forfeit the original appointment and be rescheduled. 

Late Arrivals for body scrub/wash or herbal ball massage appointments.

Online booking of theses types of appointments now requires a $30 deposit. If you need to change or cancel your booked appointment please contact us 24 hours in advance of your appointment so we can reschedule you or refund the deposit. Preparation of these appointments starts hours ahead of your appointment as we hand-make our signature all natural and fresh body scrub. The Herbal ball treatments also require prior preparation and once heated the herbal ball must be used or discarded. The deposit is necessary to cover our costs for no-shows and last minute cancellations. Cancellations on the day of  appointments and No-Shows will be charged the deposit fee 

Right to Refuse Service

 Our therapists and staff have the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service. We are a professional and licensed establishment. Any improper requests or making the therapists feel uncomfortable will terminate the service and you will be charged for your time and asked to leave.

Abuse policy

Baan Thai Spa is a professionally licensed and insured Spa and regulated by the state of Massachusetts. We provide this policy for the comfort and safety of our employees and clients. We at the Baan Thai Spa accept nothing but a zero tolerance for any type of abuse and abusive behavior. Any type of abuse and abusive behavior will never be tolerated at Baan Thai Spa. Any type of abuse and abusive behavior by employees or clients can and will result in reports given to local authorities. Below are our policies on abuse and abusive behavior.

For our employees:

• · Every employee with provide a Cori check before employment. (license MA employees can provide a copy of their state issued ID as evidence as the state has this requirement)
• · Every employee will submit to a yearly Cori check
• · Every employee will be provided yearly abuse training
• · Any incidents of abuse or abusive behavior by our employees will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of employment as a result. This will also include providing the authorities a report.

For the protection of our employees:

• · Any inappropriate talk or touching by any client will not be tolerated
• · Inappropriate talk includes asking for anything sexual service, asking for personal information or talking about the therapist’s appearance.
• · Any such behavior will result in the immediate termination of the requested service and telling the client to leave. The customer will be charged the full amount of requested service.

For the protection of our customers:

• · Any inappropriate talk or touching by any employees will not be tolerated
• · Clients should feel relaxed, safe and comfortable at all times – if a client does not, they should ask the therapist to exit the treatment room and then immediately report the issue to the front desk or by calling the main number 781-400-2342.
